This conference is hosted by the China chemicals Industry Association and the Lanzhou New District Management Committee. With the theme of "Silk Road New Pattern chemicals Industry New Knot Energy", the conference adopts a combination of industry achievement display and expert forum dialogue to jointly seek strategies for the development of Fine chemicals and discuss emerging Industry development plans, and jointly build a road of win-win cooperation.

Fine chemicals industry is the key field and important direction of high-quality development of petrochemicals industry during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. Gansu is an important petrochemicals base in China, and the petrochemicals industry is the pillar industry of the province.

As the fifth national-level new district in the country and the first national-level new district in the northwest approved by the State Council, Lanzhou New District is located in the middle of the symbiotic zone of the three provincial capitals of Lanzhou, Xining, and Yinchuan. Large environmental protection capacity, low cost of production factors, rich resources and energy, convenient three-dimensional transportation, and strong support for scientific and technological talents, there are no various nature reserves, water sources and shallow groundwater around the high-standard planning and construction of the chemicals industry park. It is far away from the population gathering area and has the unique advantages for the development of the chemicals industry.

In recent years, Lanzhou New District has actively implemented the development concept of "innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing". Based on the urgent needs of the country, market shortages, future directions, and what the new district can do, it has focused on building green chemicals industry as a leading industry with 100 billion-level advantages. Focusing on strong dragon heads, clusters, and chains, high-standard planning and high-level construction of a 150-square-kilometer green chemicals park, more than 200 projects covering medicine, pesticides, new chemicals materials, auxiliaries and reagents, high-purity chemicals have been introduced, with a total investment of more than 60 billion yuan and more than 1000 kinds of landing chemicals products. A Fine chemicals industry cluster with high-end chemicals medicine, high-efficiency pesticide raw drugs and new chemicals materials as the leading characteristic products has been initially formed, and efforts have been made to build a chemicals industry incubation base integrating R & D, pilot test, transformation, training and production. It has been approved as a provincial foreign trade transformation and upgrading base and a representative park in the direction of the province's chemicals industry, and has been rated as a Class D low-risk chemicals park.

Cui Shengli, deputy secretary-general of the China chemicals Industry Association, said that at present, the total output value of my country's chemicals industry exceeds 13 trillion yuan, accounting for about 15% of the country's GDP. Fine chemicals industry is one of the most important branches of the chemicals industry, which plays an important supporting role in the national economic development. It is related to the security and future of the country, and is also an important field to achieve green and sustainable development. As the golden node city of my country's opening to the west and the "bridgehead" of the "Belt and Road", the holding of the Western (Lanzhou New Area) Fine chemicals Industry Expo will actively enhance the interaction and exchanges of the western chemicals industry and promote business with Central Asian countries. Exchanges, promote the innovative development and upgrading of my country's Fine chemicals industry, and consolidate the green and low-carbon development of China's Fine chemicals industry.

The Expo attracted Fine chemicals exhibitors and equipment suppliers from all over the country. At the same time, it also attracted Belarus and Uzbekistan pavilions to participate in the exchange.

Shevchenko Zanalexandre, director of the Economic and Trade Cooperation Office of the Belarusian Embassy in China, said that Belarus is not only an "iron buddy" and "all-weather friend" of the Chinese people, but also one of the earliest participants and staunch supporters of the "Belt and Road Initiative" initiative. At present, a large number of key projects in the fields of medical care, machinery manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, electronics and biotechnology have taken root in Belarus. There are more than 160 registered Chinese companies, and they continue to increase every year, which has effectively promoted the economic development of Belarus. It is expected that through the Expo, leading enterprises in the petrochemicals industry in Belarus and outstanding Chinese enterprises will be displayed on the same stage, and cooperation and exchanges between China and Belarus in the chemicals industry will be promoted.

Western 2023 (Lanzhou New Area) Fine chemicals Industry Expo also held a project signing ceremony. At the same time, a series of activities such as international exchange forums and academic exchange forums will be held to systematically promote the development level of Fine chemicals in the northwest.
